I am taking a couple days off of running to hopefully let my legs heal enough that I can run again on Sunday. I also gave up and bought a pair of Saucony's, the shoes I was running in just didn't have a high enough arch support and my shins were beginning to kill me.
I knew these were the right ones the moment I put them on my feet. my feet felt like they were being hugged by clouds. Can't wait to run on Sunday and give them their first workout.
Although, the pain is subsiding very fast in my shins I still plan on taking it easy for my Sunday run, so I am going to head off to the nearest track. I figure this way I can get my run in on flat even ground and it is softer than running in the street.
